Blue Flores is located on the island of Flores which is part of the Sunda Islands (Indonesia). Flores means 'flower', hence the name of the farm. 'Blue Flores' coffee is grown by a small ethnic group which lives near Mount Inerie. The farmers there handpick only the ripest coffee cherries. After they remove the mucilage from the coffee beans, they go through fermentation for 24-36 hours, wet processing and then sun drying. This results in a chocolate - cherry taste and soft floral aroma with citrus acidity.
